I had the honour of working with Mrs Dilia in the past. Her leadership and vision have always guided me to success. One can approach her with any sort of problem and know that she’s invested in finding the best solution. I really appreciated how she listened to my concerns and validated me. Thank you Mrs Dilia for being a very caring manager and taking the time to get to know every individual in your team. I am genuinely proud to have been led by such a great leader.

Miss Dilia managed a provision that both of my children attended. As a manager she appeared practical and diligent and so was well respected. She was also always loving and compassionate, with an ability to create a warm environment. She genuinely seems to love children.

She focused on the kids’ early years development, ensuring they started school in a positive position. She also listened to parents and responded well and proactively to feedback.

On the odd occasion we bump into her still since the kids have left, she still remembers details – and takes an active interest – in them.

I have no doubt that she was an important part in my children’s positive early development and I am personally very grateful for that.

Miss Dilia is one of those people who impact you forever with her kindness, compassion and love. I worked with her when I was starting my new career as an educator, a Montessori Educator. She has accepted me into her team even though I haven’t got all the qualifications and experiences needed (‘she saw me’). She was always an excellent manager leading with respect, love, and leading by example. She was always supportive and was trying to get the best in every staff member. Very patient, she was always with opened heart when some of us needed to address personal or professional issues.

Because of her professionalism, I could experience an outstanding Montessori nursery which set standards for my life. Now, I have a management/leadership role and when I think of what I should do in specific situations, I tried to pick some examples of what Miss Dilia could do in that situation.

Last but not least, Miss Dilia was one of the most important people when I had the worse moment of my life. She was always holding my hand and never letting me give up on myself, on my life, on my dreams.

My daughter attended a nursery where Dilia was the manager for 3 years. My daughter absolutely adored her and would rush into nursery each morning asking to see her.

Miss Dilia has been the biggest role model in my life. She made me fall in love with early year’s. I always knew I wanted to work with kids but didnt know exactly what exact route. Until I met one of Miss Dilia students whom I started working for. Everything i know about early years is from the knowledge from Miss Dilia’s trainings and what she has passed on to many others. Miss Dilia gives thought and care to everything and anything and is truly and inspiration to many. She has been the best mentor and the best person to have in your life.

I still remember the day Jenna mentioned your name when she interviewed me at Watford branch, and l thought : what a beautiful and unique name. I’ve never told you, but l googled the meaning of your name and l saved it as an option to name my future daughter.

In March 2019 l’ve met you for the first time, but it feels like it was yesterday. You’ve welcomed me with your beautiful smile and l immediately felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our interview. Your friendly approach and the kindness in your voice made me decide to accept the job offer without any second thoughts. Working closely with you was such a great experience which it had a massive impact in my career development as a Nursery Assistant. For instance, the conflict that l once had with a member of the staff affected me so much that it made me question some of the choices l made to the point where l was about to quit the job, but talking to you l’ve learnt that working in a team can be challenging at times, but forgiving it’s such a wonderful gift that we can give not only professionally, but also in all relationships we build throughout our lives. You were so patient to listen my personal problems and your willingness to go that extra mile to help me with anything you could was something that l will never forget..

I am not exaggerating when l say that you were kind, empathic, driven, calm, devoted, extremely passionated and a wonderful manager, the type that some people have the opportunity to work with only once in a life time, and that is the difference between a leader ( which it was you in my opinion) and a regular manager.

Every time l mention your name to some of the staff that used to know you, we all place our hands on our chest and say: Aww, Dilia?? She’s one in a million! And you truly are.

I first met Dilia when she was the head of the Montessori Nursery which my two daughters attended.

From the moment I met Dilia, I could see she was kind, caring and dedicated to her profession. She dealt with parents and children with empathy, and treated the children as if they were her own.

My children had a wonderful, nurturing experience at the nursery which was thanks in a large part to the excellent way Dilia ran it. She fostered an inclusive, welcoming environment which meant that you felt like you were part of a big family.

During the pandemic, I was so impressed with Dilia’s enduring commitment to her role and ensuring the children were able to continue to attend the nursery in a safe environment.

I highly recommend Dilia as an educator and manager, and cannot think of a better person to entrust your children’s care to.
